Photocopywala started as a real photocopy and cyber cafe shop in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, and grew into a free online platform for the same everyday photo, PDF and document work.
Our story
Before Photocopywala was a website, it was a small photocopy and cyber cafe shop on Chakkar Road in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh. Every day, the same kind of customers walked in with the same kind of problems: a passport-size photo that kept getting rejected on an exam form, a signature file that was the wrong size for an MP Online or CSC portal upload, a PDF that needed pages combined or removed before printing, or a resume that needed to be typed and printed quickly before an interview.
Running that counter meant seeing these problems up close, day after day, for CSC (Common Service Centre) staff, MP Online kiosk operators, students filling exam and scholarship forms, and other cyber cafes doing the same repetitive work. Most of the fixes were simple once you knew them - resize this, compress that, convert this file - but finding a tool that did the job correctly, without confusing menus or hidden charges, was harder than it should have been.
Photocopywala.in was built to close that exact gap: put the same fixes a shop counter would do by hand - photo and signature resizing, PDF tools, printable sheets, resume preparation and useful government portal links - into free, direct-to-use online tools, so a CSC operator, MP Online user, student or another shop owner could do it themselves in a browser, without needing to visit a counter at all.

Keep growing the same handful of tools and guides so that anyone in a small town or city, not just Narmadapuram, can prepare a file correctly the first time, before they ever open an official form, government portal or bank website.
Who runs this
Photocopywala is built and maintained by Shrikant Yadav, the same person who ran the original photocopy and cyber cafe shop in Narmadapuram, publishing under the small team name Shrimo Innovations. It is a small, focused operation rather than a large company, which is why the site stays centered on the same handful of everyday problems instead of trying to do everything.
Photocopywala.in launched in February 2025. Since then, the same shop-counter problems have been solved as 44+ free browser tools for photos, signatures, PDFs and documents, along with printable charts and sheets, practical guides for online forms and job paperwork, and a curated list of official government portal links.
The goal is not to replace an official government website, bank, school, employer or professional advisor. The goal is to make the preparation step easier before a user submits a form, prints a file, visits a cyber cafe, or opens an official portal. This is why our pages combine tools with plain-language instructions, safety notes, FAQs and related links instead of only showing an upload box.
We write guides around practical situations: exam form photo limits, job application PDFs, student document checklists, printable shop notices, small business paperwork and safe use of official government portals. When a page links to a government or third-party website, users should always verify final rules, fees, dates and requirements on the official destination website.
That focus does not change: tools should be useful, labels should be clear, and users should not be pushed toward fake download buttons, misleading claims or unnecessary sign-up steps.

Wherever practical, tools are designed to process files in the browser so users can complete common document work without account creation.

Editorial and safety process
We keep pages focused on actions a visitor can actually complete: prepare a file, understand a size requirement, download a printable resource, find a relevant official link, or learn the next step before submitting a form. Tool pages include supporting instructions, FAQs and related links so users are not left with only an upload box.
We do not ask users for OTPs, Aadhaar login details, PAN login details, banking passwords or government portal passwords. If a page contains a broken link, outdated instruction, incorrect file detail or unclear explanation, users can report it through the Contact page and we will review the correction.
